  although i know it is not the place to advertise, i just wanted to inform you guys that i am starting a new blog.

  i will be updating it at least weekly.

  it will be an analysis of older wt publications.. as you'll see in my first post, my intention isn't to "bash" the watchtower, but only to give a critical eye to what was said (good and bad) and how it contributed to the jw culture that we see today.. if anyone is interested, check it out.

  Do you feel sorry for the family members who shun you?

  as each instance of shunning happens to me, it seems even more ridiculous than the last.. this weekend i took our kids to the park - wife opted out, understandably - and we let our daughter call my parents to inform them we'd be there.

  this was my first time in the presence of my parents since our df announcement two weeks ago.. my mom and dad were 10-20 feet away much of the time and yet they never said a greeting or.. well anything.

  at one point my daughter, who is aware of the shunning, mistakenly thought my mom called my name and shouted excitedly, "mawmaw, were you talking to daddy??

  Dan don't go into Details about Marriage Problems... we all did wrong things.

  the first 2 years all I did was a Self examination of my last 25-35 yrs thinking... maybe if I worked on this or that.

  Said this and not that...

  I became a Hermit Work/Home. Never went out really. Just walked to collect my thoughts and do Soul Searching... like wandering the Wilderness for 40 yrs.

  What I came up with took 2 yrs..... It wasn't just ME!
